Cocoa Mocha Bacon
I love coffee. Its actually pretty much an addiction. And it all started in my late 20’s with a single Mocha. I was young and innocent at the time and I didn’t realize the long term effects that this seemingly harmless drink would have on my life. Mochas are pretty much a gateway drug. Well, they were for me. Nowadays I am pretty much nourished daily by an espresso IV drip.
We think chocolate bacon is just wrong! Sure both ingredients are great, but this is no Reeses Peanut Butter cup experiment. If you want chocolate covered bacon do it in the privacy of your own home or at the county fair.
For those who think everything tastes better with a hint of chocolate, we (it was actually my 8-year-old daughter’s idea) have created this amazing recipe. This will vaguely remind you of the joy you first experience when you combined sea salt with chocolate or tasted a real french chocolate croissant. Or when you realized that dark chocolates are actually better than milk chocolate. And that white chocolate is a crime against humanity (see Hague Chocolate Trials).
If you know anyone that doesn’t totally love bacon, just like Mocha is to coffee this may be the way to convert them to the dark bacon arts.
